The Université Européenne de Saxophone was established in the city of Gap in 1989. This 12-day summer school enables young semiprofessional saxophone players to attend high-level classes with some of the best teachers in the world. Among them is Mr. Claude Delangle, one of the co-founders of the Université, and Professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris.
The reputation of the Université Européenne de Saxophone is now international. This summer school is something of a trail-blazer in the field of saxophone teaching, and it proclaims its unique teaching technique, as well as high-level concerts and constant innovation. It is the best way for students from all over the world to learn the ‘French style’ of saxophone, which is known as the best in the world. Last but not least, the Université takes place in one of the most awe-inspiring valleys in the French Alps.
This year, the 19th Université Européenne de Saxophone will take place in Gap from July 13th to 24th.
